DANZAFIRENZE COMPETITION confirms its great success with the 16th edition, an unmissable international event for young dancers, emerging artists, and dance schools.
Under the artistic direction of Rosanna Brocanello and Daniel Tinazzi, the Competition has become a high-quality event and, thanks to an outstanding Jury and the awarding of scholarships offered by the most prestigious schools and renowned international companies, represents a unique opportunity for the future of young artists.
The Florence Competition, with three stages hosted in different theaters across Italy (each stage is an independent competition with awards and scholarships), has seen growing participation from dancers and choreographers from all over the world year after year. It is an excellent showcase for young talents aspiring to professionalism and for choreographers looking to promote their work.
Starting this year, as part of major international events, the best choreographies and most deserving dancers will be selected to take part in the stages of the competition and gain access to the final round.
The Jury of the 16th Edition
The Jury will be composed of qualified experts in various dance disciplines, chosen from among internationally renowned teachers, choreographers, and dancers. The Jury will carefully evaluate the technical skills, interpretative qualities, and choreographic abilities demonstrated by the competitors, and will determine the winners or the possible withholding of one or more prizes for the 16th edition.
