Program

specialization in contemporary dance

A 3-month program divided into 9 modules,
each dedicated to intensive training, artistic research, and involvement with the international scene.

At the heart of the program is the goal of cultivating contemporary dance, capable of enriching the artist and stimulating new body languages.

The program structure includes daily training, with workshops on contemporary technique, composition, improvisation, and somatic practices.
Throughout the year, numerous international choreographers and artists from leading companies will be hosted, conducting creative residencies and masterclasses. They will engage with participants in exchanges, providing them with diverse experiences and connections with the national and international scene. The invited artists will also create choreographic works that will be presented in the numerous performances and shows scheduled. These not only provide an opportunity to showcase their work, but are also essential for experiencing the stage as a space for dialogue and sharing.

In addition to daily study of technique and creative development through improvisation, composition, and physical practices, the program offers personalized support in building one’s artistic profile: assistance with writing a resume and preparing video material. Each participant will be guided in developing their own solo, as a moment of personal exploration and a potential way to present themselves in work and professional situations.

Another key element of the program is an internship with the resident company COB Compagnia Opus Ballet, during which students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the work, study existing repertoire, and participate in choreographic presentations. This immersive experience allows students to gain an insider’s understanding of the dynamics of a professional company, enriching their technical and performing skills.

The program therefore allows students to approach the world of contemporary dance with awareness and receive concrete tools for entering the world of work.

The nine-month study program is divided into three modules of three months each, which can also be completed individually through auditioning.
Upon completion of each module or the entire course, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance. The program begins in September 2025 and ends in June 2026, with over 30 hours of study per week, for 35 weeks of intensive lessons, ensuring you have a high-level professional development experience.
