Alessio Martinoli Ponzoni

Alessio Martinoli Ponzoni (Fiesole, November 2, 1983)

Actor, playwright, artistic director, and director in theater, as well as creator of formats and training projects for the dissemination of culture and artistic practices.

Since 2017, he has been working regularly with the KanterStrasse company as an actor in productions for children and a general audience, including Amletino, Ubu Re. Ubu Who?, I Promessi Sposi, OZz_Della mancanza e dello stupore, Sulla rotta dell’isola del tesoro. La vera storia della pirateria, and FANTASCIENZA. Il robot e la luce, and as a playwright in the Ozz. Digitale Interattivo project. From the 2022/2023 season, he is also co-artistic director. He collaborates with the Fondazione Teatro della Toscana – Teatro Nazionale as an actor in theater projects like Il sogno di Alice and as a playwright and actor in outreach projects such as Viaggio itinerante nel mondo di Vasco Pratolini and the Consultazioni poetiche.

He has worked as an assistant director, actor, and playwright with the Krypton company, as a playwright for Pierino e il lupo with the Nuovo Balletto di Toscana, as an actor for the Theatre de la Ville de Luxembourg, as an actor and playwright for the Inteatro Festival on the project Fight_Tentativi di sopravvivenza dell’essere umano, for the shows Faust_Prologo and FALLO! Un omaggio a Lenny Bruce, and as a playwright for the Italian Cultural Institute in Bratislava. He has also collaborated with the companies Teatro dell’Elce, InQuanto Teatro, Giardino Chiuso, Straligut Teatro, and Uthopia Teatro.

Among the cultural formats, he conceived and implemented the project RSSA – Residenze Socio Shakespeariane Assistite, a theater workshop based on a text by William Shakespeare shared between residents of a nursing home and a group of young people aged 18 to 25. For this project, he received the “Il Dono” Prize from the City of Florence and the Villa Vogel Prize for Culture in 2024.
