Born in the province of Vicenza in 1988, she is a dancer and choreographer currently residing in Florence.
She began studying classical dance at a very young age, later attending the Liceo Coreutico Teatro Nuovo in Turin. After obtaining her high school diploma, she decided to focus on contemporary dance at the Codarts – Rotterdam Dance Academy in the Netherlands, where she earned a Bachelor’s in Contemporary Dance in 2009.
She furthered her studies in contemporary dance at the Centro Coreografico Opus Ballet in Florence, following the professional track “L.OF.T,” which focuses on composition and choreographic research.
From 2011 to 2014, she started collaborating as a dancer with several companies, including Compagnia Opus Ballet directed by Rosanna Brocanello, Officina Pontormo directed by Virgilio Sieni, Sharon Fridman (Oriente e Occidente, Rovereto), and Levantes Dance Theatre (Greenwich Dance Theatre, London). During these years, she also had the opportunity to study closely with the Compagnia Zappalà Danza in Catania as part of the “Modem – Pro” program and attend Tanzhaus Zurich in various residency opportunities.
In 2015, she co-founded the collective Gruppo M.U.D. with three other colleagues, with whom she developed and presented several choreographic projects, such as “Small Talk,” supported by Murmuris Teatro and Versiliadanza within the Flow-residenza creativa multipla residency program (art.45 – MIBACT and Regione Toscana); “Per(n),” a site-specific performative installation created for the Centro per l’Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci in Prato; and “Temenos,” a visual concert for musician Gianfranco De Franco and director Massimo Bevilacqua, presented at the Intercity Festival at the Teatro della Limonaia in Sesto Fiorentino.
Since 2016, she has been a dancer with the Siena-based Compagnia Francesca Selva, participating in the productions “Terra Blu,” “Amore Amaro,” “Mercy,” “Ballata Popolare,” and “Le furie di Orlando,” performing both in Italy and abroad in Belgium, Germany, and Hungary.
In 2017, she worked with the Compagnia Teatro Studio Krypton on projects curated by Margherita Landi, including “Muovere un cielo pieno di figure vive” and “Periferika.” Since 2017, she has also worked on two shows she authored and performed: “Isole Sensibili” with colleague Luca Zanni, co-produced by CON.COR.D.A. Consorzio Coreografi Danza d’Autore, and “DOYOUWANNAJUDGEME,” with Luca Zanni and Nicola Simone Cisternino, which was recently selected for the Vetrina del Network Anticorpi XL 2019. Alongside Luca Zanni, she began working on her third authorial project, “Sui legami,” born from a site-specific performance for the U.F.O. Art&Sound Festival in Omegna, Verbania, in collaboration with synthesist musician Comrade.
In parallel with her work as a dancer, she has maintained her passion for teaching contemporary dance since her graduation, working with different age groups, particularly focusing on the study of the body in its functionality and complexity.
She collaborates with national and international choreographers on various educational projects.
