The STAGES of the 18th edition
The DANZAFIRENZE COMPETITION successfully reaches its 18th edition and confirms itself as an unmissable international event for young dancers, emerging artists, and dance schools.
Under the artistic direction of Rosanna Brocanello and Daniel Tinazzi, the Opus Ballet Competition has become a high-quality event. Thanks to an exceptional jury and scholarships awarded by top international schools and companies, it offers a unique opportunity for the future of young artists.
DanzaFienze, with three stages in different locations across Italy, has seen increasing participation of dancers and choreographers from all over the world year after year. An excellent showcase for young people aspiring to professionalism and for choreographers seeking to promote their work.

The Jury of the 18th edition
The Jury is composed of qualified experts in various dance disciplines, selected among renowned international teachers, choreographers, and dancers. The Jury, with a careful merit evaluation of the technical, interpretative, and choreographic skills demonstrated by the participants, will determine the winners or the non-assignment of one or more awards of the 18th edition of the Competition.

Awards and scholarships of the 18th edition
The total prize pool is worth approximately €60,000.00 and includes cash prizes, scholarships, open cards, clothing offered by So Dança, and participation in shows, festivals, and reviews.
All final winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes) and the winner of the Leonardo Prize are invited to perform at the GALA within the Crossroads – dance intersections showcase (July 2018).
