IMPORTANT NOTICE: STAGE CANCELLATIONS
The Opus Ballet Center ssd announces that, in accordance with the Authority’s directives, the suspension of its activities will continue until April 16 and likely beyond.
This difficult situation affects all dance schools in Italy and, of course, theaters, which currently have no guarantee of reopening soon. For these reasons, the Management deeply regrets to announce the CANCELLATION OF THE XX DANZAFIRENZE COMPETITION STAGES scheduled in Arzano (NA), Florence, and Padua between the end of April and early May.
The competition will therefore take place exclusively on July 11 and 12 at the Tuscany Hall Theater in Florence.
We will soon provide information regarding participation procedures and registration.

Jury of the 20th Edition
The Jury is composed of highly qualified experts in various dance disciplines, selected among internationally renowned teachers, choreographers, and dancers. The Jury will carefully evaluate technical skills, artistic interpretation, and choreographic ability demonstrated by the participants to determine the winners or to decide not to award one or more prizes in this 20th edition.
Awards and Scholarships – 20th Edition
The total prize pool is valued at approximately €60,000 and includes cash prizes, scholarships, open cards, special awards offered by So Dança, and opportunities to participate in performances, festivals, and showcases.
All first-prize winners in each category and the winner of the Leonardo Award will be invited to perform at the GALA of the following edition of the competition (2021).
