The Importance of a Solid and Up-to-Date Training
Focus on specialization, professional development, and the introduction of new Modern/Contemporary choreographic trends
The professional advanced training masterclass is designed for teachers and dancers aspiring to become Modern and Contemporary dance instructors: teachers working with children, adolescents, and adults who wish to refine and strengthen their teaching skills.
The sessions will address the main elements required to structure effective work with students, offering a pathway that starts from the technical level of the dance class and leads to the development of choreographic ideas.
This is an opportunity for study and in-depth exploration not only of techniques and teaching methods, but also of stylistic aspects, guiding teachers in the creation of their own working method. Particular attention will be given to the relationship between Modern and Contemporary dance—two styles in constant dialogue, where the evolution of one contributes to the language of the other.
In an era in which everything is influenced by cross-contamination and moves at great speed, space becomes filled with energy and an abundance of information. During the masterclass, we will explore styles and the potential of contemporary dance languages, bringing out their expressive and pedagogical value.
The program offers practical and theoretical tools to explore spatial dynamics, lines of force, and directions, with a specific focus on the use of stage space as a creative and narrative element. Work will focus on body awareness in space, relationships between dancers, and the construction of choreographic sequences.
